In an interview the Governor of Hawaii has come out and stated that he may release President Obama’s birth certificate in order to “silence the birther movement”. The thing that strikes me odd is the fact that this comes out right after Chris Matthews statement stating “Obama should be putting the birth certificate controversy surrounding President Obama to rest. Why has the president himself not demanded they put out the original documents?" Matthews wonders. "If it exists, why not put it out?" Chris Matthews asks.
This is a good question, and not wanting to sound like a loon, I know when I joined the military I had to provide my birth certificate and social security card. The President is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces, why is he not subjected to the same rules? All I want is the leader of the military to produce the same documents that every serviceman that is currently enlisted or has EVER enlisted needed to produce.
Can’t help but wonder what is trying to be hidden, as not only has the President gone to great lengths to keep his birth certificate hidden, but why is he also keeping his collage records secret also? In fact, during the election a challenge was made as to McCain’s eligibility. a question he quickly answered by producing his birth certificate, as he was born at the Panama Canal. Mr. McCain was born on a military installation in the Canal Zone, where his mother and father, a Navy officer, were stationed.
This may be the first time I can say that I have ever agreed with Chris Matthews, show the evidence and get it over with, unless there IS something to hide.
